SF-WS-BIVTENTORNG

Premium light-weight three-season tent, large enough for 1 person plus gear.

The Solo Bivvy Tent by Adventure Frog is made of rugged material for a long life of use, yet light and very compact for easy storage.  This three-season tent is great for camping, thru-hiking or just to have a backup shelter option when needed.  The rain fly cover design allows you to use the tent in the worst of weather conditions, or remove for star gazing and cool night breezes. Comfortably sleeps one person plus gear (or you and that special someone). Comes with tie-down rope, steaks, poles and a carrying bag with instructions sewn inside.

  • 3-Season Tent – Giving you both protection against the elements and the ability to stay cool on hot summer nights with the removable rain fly cover.
  • Lightweight – Weighing in at just 2.9 pounds, this tent can easily be carried with you on weekend camping trips or bring with you on road trips
  • Easy Setup and Takedown – Instructions are sewn into the carrying bag, but you won’t need them. Designed for simple and fast assembly.
  • Compact – At only 18 inches, the stuff bag is small and fits easily into your backpack.
  • Durable and Sturdy – Heavy duty stakes (14), plus 550 paracord rope and reinforced waterproof pre-sealed seams on the rain fly will keep you dry in heavy rain and windy conditions.
  • Stay Warm – Pre-sealed reinforced seams and the waterproof rain fly will keep you dry and warm in the worst of storms. Low profile design helps in high wind conditions.
  • Stay Cool – Remove the rainfly to expose the full-tent open air mesh for fresh summer air and the nighttime stars without bugs or mosquitos.
  • Spacious – At 7.5 feet long the tallest of men will fit comfortably and still have room for gear inside. Could fit two people, but it's tight.

tent

It is functional; however it is a bit cramped overhead in that I am 5' - 4'' and can't sit up in it. Yes I would recommend it, but just keep in mind that it is a BIVI tent.

👍👍

I've used this twice so far, once on a Backcountry ski mission and once just camping. The only issue I had was condensation build up on the inside of the fly during the skiing outing but I'm not sure that's avoidable? The summer camping was perfect and I stayed super dry during a rain storm. Looking forward to using again asap

Camping /survival bed.

Easy to set up, although instructions were less than useful. Once up it was obvious that a air-filled mattress was needed and should have been an option during the initial purchase. Since finding the correct sized mattress can be an issue, the dimensions and brand names that would fit the tent would be a common sense inclusion. F. Stolz
